Ananda M. Sundari

I confess I'm an artist to the bone. My mission:

"Awakening Inner Beauty"

I continue my various artistic projects along side my massage and facial business. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in drawing and painting from University of Massachusetts, Amherst, with a major in drawing and water color painting. I have been illustrating, writing and doing computer graphic arts for more than 30 years. Photoshop is my sandbox. Latest projects include formatting books for self publishing, eBooks, book covers and a few websites. For example, I put together this website.

I have been a meditation practitioner since I was 17.  I am profoundly grateful to my teachers putting up with us barbarian students until our minds have become tamed enough to become reasonable students.

Loving Awareness is everything!

I love to dance. I started early with free form dance, then 12 years of Belly Dance and 10 years of Classical East Indian Odissi dance training with Guru Jyoti Rout. I have a 7 year background in Aikido, a Japanese martial art with Esaki Sensei, Kauai, Hawaii. I am currently studying Tango with Shahin Medghalchi since 2012.

Interested in keeping my body in great shape, mostly so I can keep dancing, I created the “Move to Vitality” system. It came from a 35 year investigation of movement as way to artistic expression, health, healing and overall body wisdom. I have a "Move to Vitality Anti-Aging Exercise Secrets" DVDs available. Email me if you are interested in purchasing or reviewing my DVD.
